One Step Closer!!

Welcome Serpent Masters

We are one step closer to completing manufacturing of the game. The Digital Proofs for the game have been approved and the Master Production Copy of the game is being made.

The Digital Proofs let us look at how the components in the game will be printed and the Master Production Copy will let us know how the final game will be packaged. Once it arrives we will post another update with pictures.

Hello Serpent Masters

Game Production Is Underway!!

All the details with our manufacturers have been worked out and the production process has started. We expect to receive digital proofs of the game components soon. There is a bit of bad news, though. the production schedule has slipped a little and we do not expect to meet our December shipping date. At this point it looks more like January. We are making every effort to keep pressing forward, and the hope is we may be able to make up some ground. We will keep everyone informed of the progress.

Campaign Continued Update!

Good News! Good News!

Even though the Kickstarter campaign finished, we continued to raise funds where we could and are pleased to announce we were able to raise enough to reach the first stretch goal. So, the games will come with cards that have been upgraded to the higher level ivory core cardstock, increasing their durability. Wahoo!!

But wait, there's more!!

We also received some specific funding for the additional player colors. A benefactor wanted the additional player colors to be an earlier stretch goal than it was and we were able to provide specifics on the cost, which was funded. This means all of the games will now come with the 2 extra colors from which a player may choose. The colors will be Blue, Red, Black, White, Orange and Green.

Yay Everyone!!

We have all the details worked out with the manufacturer and production should start soon. We will keep you informed as the project progresses. Thank you.

Thank You and Next Steps

While we know there is still a little time left, we wanted to let everyone know how much we appreciate their support, specially those who have been with us from the beginning.

A Great Big Thank You to everyone for making our project a reality!

A few things will need to happen, though, before we can kick off production and fulfillment.

Here is a quick rundown:

First, Kickstarter will need to transfer over the funds so we have all the money we need to make the game (this can take up to two weeks).

Second, we have to find out where we need to ship the games. We will be sending out a BackerKit survey to collect this information.

We will give you a heads-up before we send the survey so that you can watch for it. You will not need to create a BackerKit account to answer your survey since the invitation email will contain a link to your personal survey. It is important to submit your responses as quickly as you can since we need this information to process your rewards.

If you need to change your survey responses, purchase add-on items or update your shipping information, you can click the link in your survey email again or request your survey link under "Lost your survey?" on our BackerKit project page. (This page will only start working after we send the surveys out.)

If you prefer, you may contact us directly with your information, but answering your survey helps us get your rewards out to you faster. BackerKit helps us save lots of time by streamlining the survey process, automating data collection and organization, and providing us with pledge management software to make it easy to process your pledge reward shipments.

If you used your Facebook credentials to log in to your Kickstarter account, the BackerKit survey link is sent to the email address you use for your Facebook account. If you have another email address that you prefer to use, please contact us.

Lastly, we will need to get this information to our fulfillment partner so they know where to ship the games. This will occur closer to the fulfillment date so you have time to make updates to shipping information.

Shipping Costs

Hello Serpent Masters,

The shipping costs for the game have been negotiated and the project has been updated to show those costs. Unfortunately unless we are able to reach international regional minimums for backers, we will not be able to take advantage of international regional warehouses for local friendly shipping. This means that currently all shipments will be originated from within the United States.

There is still time to change this! More backers still equals Lower shipping rates!
